This vintage 18k two-toned gold diamond X bracelet is a masterpiece by Angela Cummings for Tiffany & Co as part of the 1975-1976 collection.

The exquisite design consists of 21 gold links with a high-polish finish and one white gold, diamond encrusted link. The links are connected at the top corners of the X, allowing it to flow open at the bottom and lay fluidly on the hand. The white gold X has an off-center placement, bringing a bit of asymmetry to the bracelet (though the white X can be worn anywhere on the wrist). The blocky X’s are sophisticated, clean, and precise, while evoking whimsical imagery.

The impeccable craftsmanship expresses both artistry and luxury; this is an iconic vintage piece that is hard to find and in excellent condition.

Lot Note(s): Angela Cummings began her career at Tiffany & Co. in 1968, and by 1975 had launched a collection under her name. Her work incorporates themes of nature, including her infamous rose petal bracelet.

The bracelet contains eight natural diamonds. Each diamond measures 2 mm. They are F-G in color and VS in clarity. The TCW is approximately .16 carats.

The bracelet is 7” long and 8.5mm wide. It weighs 25.73 grams. It is secured with a hidden clasp (tongue) and safety closure. The bracelet is marked with Tiffany 18k and C for Angela Cummings.

The bracelet comes in an original light blue Tiffany & Co. pouch and box.
