Blue lustre exterior and orange lustre interior. Beautiful polychrome fruit bouquets decorate the outside, culminating in a gorgeous assemblage of grapes and apricots in the center of the bowl, all beautifully accentuated with pristine gilded details.

Lot Note(s): Designer Daisy Makeig-Jones adapted this pattern from an existing Wedgwood pattern called ‘Pershore’; she did this often with her designs. The ‘Blue Fruit’ pattern was very popular when introduced in 1928 and remained the best selling line of lustrewares that were still being made at the factory as late as 1940, even after Makeig-Jones left in 1931.
